Session Information

The AI revolution is upon us and those who are willing or desperate enough to commit malpractice to achieve their goals of studying internationally. The digital age and AI revolution brings constantly evolving new threats, new opportunities, new technologies and a reminder that we cannot forget 'old skool' malpractice in the world of assessment. We are constantly adapting to evolving education systems and AI technologies and therefore need to be equipped to recognize and deal with fraud in all its forms. We also need to recognize the opportunities that technology provides to best leverage it to automate routine tasks, reduce manual interactions in case-handling systems, minimize human errors, and create more time for complex assessments. Using a series of real-life scenarios of IELTS English language testing, admissions applications, document fraud and verification 'trickery' we will facilitate a sharing of knowledge in the room to work through how each case could be assessed and acted upon. This session will be interactive; attendees are invited to bring their own 'tips and tricks' and technology solutions to share.
